US Department Of Defense Funding Hot Fusion Research

A California-based company has been granted by the US Department of Defense grant money to further its research on small scale hot fusion technology called cativation. According to the Energy catalyzer Guide report, the Department of Defense has $35 million budget for its Advance Cativation Power Technology program.

It was implied in the report that the US Department of Defense is willing to fund “real alternative energy research.” To all those who have been following the E-Cat story, we know that there was a time when Andrea Rossi sought the support of the DOD but was rejected. How can they think of the E-Cat as not a real alternative energy research when it is the only one that has an actual reactor to show for?
