Ethical Questions Confront Representatives of Southern Polytechnic State University

The University may hold classes on ethics as is required by the Georgia government, but it is this Marietta University that is receiving the course on ethics this time. In an unprecedented case several students have brought the abuses of the administration of Southern Polytechnic State University forward to the general public. Numerous cases with the Better Business Bureau assert that the University has applied unauthorized charges to student accounts against the terms of contracts created by the schools administration. This presents several implication on the aspect of social responsibility. While it may seem beneficial to make profits and increase the bottom line, doing so should avoid causing harm to others.
