On Friday, September 1, State Senate candidate Judy Hanna (D-27th) will Meet.The.Bloggers* at Cafe Momus in Akron.
Hanna is a University of Akron instructor who has also served as the interim director of the Women’s Studies Program. She’s an environmental advocate and member of Friends of the Crooked River. Hanna has also advocated for election reforms as a member of Common Cause.
In November, Hanna will face incumbent Kevin Coughlin (R-Cuyahoga Falls), who beat Tom Bevan, brother of Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh, by 6 points in 2002.
