Mike Foley was recently elected to fill the Ohio House 14th seat that was vacated by Dale Miller. Foley will Meet the Bloggers Friday at Talkies.
Foley narrowly defeated Bill Ritter, who attacked Foley for the support he received from the Cleveland Stonewall Democrats and for his stance on gay marriage. Ritter’s gay-baiting literature was resoundingly panned by bloggers.
Foley won the seat by just over 100 votes in a race that edged back and forth between the candidates as the county board of elections slogged through their counts last month.
Although Foley was sworn in recently, Ritter has filed and paid for a recount.
